Is there a Meaning or a Purpose to Life on Earth?

I often wonder what is the Meaning of Life...

Isn't it awe inspiring that in the process of Creation (or to some others Evolutionary progression) so many elements in Nature come together and collaborate in symbiosis to form a Human being?

When you think of the minute level of detail, the particles and atoms and how many of them assemble purely at random to make 'you' - YOU?

... and then when you consider, that at some stage after a certain life span (which in universal terms is so ephemeral), they disband and go their separate ways to form or be part of some other living being or inanimate object. (Well, isn't it all of it, simply 'matter' after all?)

Lavoisier once said: "..in Nature nothing is lost, everything is transformed."
